Movie Trailer Mondays
Each week I review movie trailers that came out the previous week or for movies that are about to premiere. Some of these movies I am excited about, some I am mildly curious about, and the rest I make fun of!
Notable movies coming out this week
Interior. Leather Bar.
Two horror movies and this James Franco movie about the Al Pacino movie Cruising are opening this week because Christmas took all of the “GOOD” movies. Nonetheless, I adore the artistic weirdness that is James Franco. [Unless you live in NYC, there are still new indie movies opening every week so go see one of those instead of this crap. -M]
Best Night Ever is out onDemand and for Rent
This movie is either AMAZING or horrifyingly offensive. It actually might be both. [The Hangover with ladies? I’m pretty sure this is in the horrifyingly offensive category, Katie. -M]
Movies I can’t wait to see in an ACTUAL theater
The Other Woman, April 25, 2014
This movies wins because it has a boozy Leslie Mann and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as a cad. I’m not sure how I feel about Kate Upton. [I think we will need to see this one. NICKI MINAJ, y’all! And you know I love movies where people scheme to take others down. -M]
Camp Takota, TBA
All of our favorite youtube ladies are in this movie about a woman who goes to camp because she is no longer getting married –FUN! [This looks so cute! And who knew My Drunk Kitchen could act? -M]
I won’t go to an ACTUAL theater but will pay for it on Amazon
3 Days to Kill, February 21, 2014
I can’t help it I love Kevin Costner, I’m not sure if it’s because of Field of Dreams or if I just find him a likable guy but I kind of hope he starts making more movies that Liam Neeson was obviously too busy to make. Also is it me or does Amber Heard look exactly like Dakota Fanning in this trailer. [Paris is so pretty! Amber Heard annoys me and I don’t know why, she seems like a perfectly nice person. -M]
Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, July 11, 2014
I love the font type and word placement in the title for the Planet of the Apes films it’s very sixties AND yet modern. This is all I really have to say about this movie. [I am concerned that you said you will pay for this on Amazon. Maybe you can invite my husband up, he even likes the new PotA movies. -M]
You would have to PAY me to see it in an ACTUAL theater
Welcome to Yesterday, February 28, 2014
Teenagers invent a time machine and then proceed to fuck up the world. [I saw this trailer before American Hustle and thought, oh well, at least it isn’t I, Frankenstein! -M]
