Smart ladies love movie trailers, the week in trailers July 1, 2013

Movie Trailer Mondays

Each week I review movie trailers that came out the previous week or for movies that are about to premiere. Some of these movies I am excited about, some I am mildly curious about, and the rest I make fun of!

Biggest movie coming out this week

The Lone Ranger

Both Melissa and I really, really LOVE Armie Hammer. He isn’t even that hot but he’s got CHARISMA. I also love Helena Boham Carter, that lady can act and is daffy FUN! I would find Johnny Depp overrated if it weren’t for how much I loved Ed Wood. [I agree about JD on both accounts. Man, I love Ed Wood. This movie looks kind of terrible. -M]

Movies I can’t wait to see in an ACTUAL theater

Drinking Buddies, August 23, 2013

I love beer and Jake Johnson. I also love Ron Livingston and Anna Kendrick and I can tolerate Olivia Wilde (her twitter is FUN! @oliviawilde). This trailer however is the worst it is like the entire movie in 3 minutes. [I am so stoked for this. I have loved Jake Johnson since Paper Heart. Though I am still anti-Olivia Wilde from her days on the OC as one of Marissa’s love interests. -M]

I won’t go to an ACTUAL theater but will pay for it on Amazon

Prince Avalanche, August 9, 2013

This movie looks very sleepy, it also looks like the type of movie I watch at one in the morning on Netflix. [DAVID GORDON GREEN IS BACK! Oh this looks less like Your Highness and more like All The Real Girls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also when I started the trailer I was like, Jack Black looks super young! Then I realized it was Emile Hirsch. -M]

The Counselor, November 15, 2013

Michael Fassbender is the only reason why I would watch this movie. What is going on with Brad Pitt’s hair I feel like I should write an entire piece on how it just gets longer and dirtier the older he gets. Dude you are rich wash your fucking hair! [Fun fact: we learned this weekend that one of our friends REALLY hates Brad Pitt. -M]

You would have to PAY me to see it in an ACTUAL theater

Escape Plan, October 18, 2013

Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Jesus (Jim Caviezel) are in a state of the art prison and I wouldn’t even watch this movie on HBO and I will watch anything that is on HBO. [Nope. Absolutely not. -M]
