Smart ladies love movie trailers, the week in trailers July 22, 2013

Movie Trailer Mondays

Each week I review movie trailers that came out the previous week or for movies that are about to premiere. Some of these movies I am excited about, some I am mildly curious about, and the rest I make fun of!

Biggest movie coming out this week

The Wolverine

I’m one of the very few who liked the Wolverine Origins movie and I’m thinking that was only because it had lots of hot boys and I had a sort of Stockholm Syndrome thing going. This movie actually looks like it has a decent plot but I will miss Tim Riggins as Gambit. [I didn’t see the first Wolverine so I can safely take a pass on this. I’m bored just thinking about it. -M]

Movies I can’t wait to see in an ACTUAL theater

Hunger Games: Catching Fire, November 22, 2013

It’s sad how much I cannot wait for this movie. I am a grown person. [Is everyone still obsessed with Jennifer Lawrence? I hope so. -M]

I won’t go to an ACTUAL theater but will pay for it on Amazon

Thanks for Sharing, September 20, 2013

I’m emotionally unsure about Pink as an actress, does anyone think this is a good idea? I do know that I will pay for this when it gets to TV, I love me some Mark Ruffalo (Fun Fact: he once winked at my mom). [I am uncomfortable with the idea of Gwyneth being sexy. Ewww. -M]

Twelve Years a Slave, October 18, 2013

I’m not sure I will see this in the theater but I think it’s about time we get a movie about slavery from a person of color.  [I cried during this entire trailer. I don’t think I am stable enough to see this though I love everyone in it. -M]

You would have to PAY me to see it in an ACTUAL theater

The Frozen Ground, August 23, 2013

I really feel like we should just rename this category movies we would hate staring people we used to respect. This week John Cusack makes me want to question everything he has done for the last ten years and then re-watch Say Anything and High Fidelity. [I cried during this trailer too but for a completely different reason. -M]
