Movie Trailer Mondays

Each week I review movie trailers that came out the previous week or for movies that are about to premiere. Some of these movies I am excited about, some I am mildly curious about, and the rest I make fun of!

Don Jon Good Vibrations

Biggest movie coming out this week

Riddick

On one hand I’m glad this is more like the original Riddick movie Pitch Black on the other hand this doesn’t look quite as fun as the resurgence of the Fast and Furious franchise which benefits greatly from a Vin Diesel and the Rock pairing. I will most likely watch this movie 5000 times when it inevitably comes to pay cable.

Movies I can’t wait to see in an ACTUAL theater

Dallas Buyers Club, November 1, 2013

I am one of those people who believes that Matthew McConaughey is a good actor when he chooses to be and/or is not in a movie with Kate Hudson. This movie appears to be FUN and socially conscious which makes believe in it, also I enjoy Jennifer Garner. And Jared Leto is a transsexual.

Ass Backwards, November 8, 2013

This movie was written by Casey Wilson (RIP HAPPY ENDINGS you glorious show) and June Diane Raphael (Dr. Sadie on The New Girl) and looks fun! I love pageant movies, Drop Dead Gorgeous and Happy Texas are under-appreciated gems.

I won’t go to an ACTUAL theater but will pay for it on Amazon

Don Jon, September 27, 2013

Former HDOTW Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s directorial debut is the resurgence of both Tony Danza and “Good Vibrations” by Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch. FUN!?! This looks like Melissa and I might enjoy it while drinking.

The Book Thief, November 15, 2013

It is a testament to how much I enjoy Geoffrey Rush and Emily Watson that I even watched this trailer which it’s title alone screams possibly depressing WWII movie. The trailer looks fairly depressing but also looks like it might be uplifting in the end. MAYBE?!? Why can’t Emily Watson be in movies that don’t make me want to die?

You would have to PAY me to see it in an ACTUAL theater

All the Boys Love Mandy Lane, October 11, 2013

I don’t even understand what’s going on. Are the boys killing each other because Amber Heard is so hot? Isn’t Amber Heard way to old to be in High School?
