Movie Trailer Monday

o-TOP-FIVE-POSTER-570

Each week I review movie trailers that came out the previous week or for movies that are about to premiere. Some of these movies I am excited about, some I am mildly curious about, and the rest I make fun of!

Notable movies coming out this weekend

Top Five

Chris Rock has been on fire this week during the press circuit for Top Five his new movie he wrote and directed that opens this week. We featured this a couple of weeks ago but they released an extended trailer last week and because I love Chris Rock it IS the most notable movie opening this week.

Comet, is out onDemand and for Rent

This movie has twee indie romance written all over it. The story looks very same old same old but it DOES look visually interesting.

Movies I can’t wait to see in an ACTUAL theater

While We’re Young, March 27, 2015

I don’t watch Girls so my love for Adam Driver comes from small parts he has played in Inside Llewyn Davis and Francis Ha so I’m pretty stocked for this movie in which he and Ben Stiller become BFFs or rather Naomi Watts and Ben Stiller try to become Brooklyn hipsters.

Terminator: Genisys, July 1, 2015

Dammit I am a sucker for Jai Courtney and Emilia Clarke so this looks good even though it’s an incredibly unnecessary sequel/prequel (you never know if its past present or both with Terminator movies).

I won’t go to an ACTUAL theater but will pay for it on Amazon

Love, Rosie, February 6, 2014

A romcom staring Finnick Odair from The Hunger Games and Lily Collins daughter of Phil.

Far from the Madding Crowd, May 1, 2014

Thomas Hardy is super duper depressing (poor sad Tess) but this adaptation of his novel Far from the Madding Crowd stars Carey Mulligan, Michael Sheen, and Matthias Schoenaerts (one of our hot dudes of Europe).

You would have to PAY me to see it in an ACTUAL theater

The Age of Adaline, April 24, 2014

This movie looks kind of interesting but it also looks like it stars Blake Lively (true story I fast forward through all her parts in the pants movies).
