Movie Trailer Monday

Each week I review movie trailers that came out the previous week or for movies that are about to premiere. Some of these movies I am excited about, some I am mildly curious about, and the rest I make fun of!

Notable movies coming out this weekend

Selma

This trailer looks amazing, it’s well put together and the musical cues are fantastic. It makes me want to run out and go see this movie only to realize I might not want to ugly cry in a theater in Bethesda. Selma is directed by the super talented Ava DuVernay first female person of color to be nominated for a Golden Globe.

Movies I can’t wait to see in an ACTUAL theater

A Little Chaos, March 27, 2015

Alan Rickman directed this period piece starring Kate Winslet and Matthias Schoenaerts (one of the hottest dudes of continental Europe) as landscape architects at Versailles. Rickman is a fantastic director I highly recommend his first directorial effort The Winter Guest.

Get Hard, March 27, 2015

WILL FERRELL + KEVIN HART = COMEDY GOLD. This movie looks silly as fuck but I still laughed about a million times.

I won’t go to an ACTUAL theater but will pay for it on Amazon

True Story, April 10, 2015

I dig Jonah Hill in dramatic parts but James Franco is super creepy in this trailer and I don’t think I could watch him for an entire film.

Entourage, June 5, 2015

I watched every season of Entourage I found it both extremely funny and extremely offensive (it was one of my guiltiest pleasures) so I am both excited (I miss the BOYS) and trepidatious (I don’t miss the misogyny) about this movie.

You would have to PAY me to see it in an ACTUAL theater

The Longest Ride, April 10, 2015

What did Alan Alda ever do to deserve this (I bet it’s juicy and scandalous).
