Movie Trailer Mondays

RUSH Chris Hemsworth

Each week I review movie trailers that came out the previous week or for movies that are about to premiere. Some of these movies I am excited about, some I am mildly curious about, and the rest I make fun of!

Biggest movie coming out this week

Rush

Lots of hot dudes in this movie and Natalie Dormer from Game of Thrones (I’m beginning to really love her). This movie also has Olivia Wilde with a hilarious English accent. [In less than a year this will be my favorite HBO movie. -M]

Movies I can’t wait to see in an ACTUAL theater

Nebraska, November 15, 2013

Alexander Payne in black and white, LOVE IT! I also love Bruce Dern and Will Forte as father and son. This movie looks fantastic. [I just heard about this yesterday! Amazing. Alexander Payne is wonderful and I would actually pay to see this, though I am growing tired of movies about men getting old. Oh the vanity. -M]

I won’t go to an ACTUAL theater but will pay for it on Amazon

The Art of the Steal, September 20, 2013

Another TIFF movie this one is a heist flick set on the Canadian border starring Kurt Russell and Jay Baruchel. It looks amusing. I love Canada and Kurt Russell. Also Matt Dillon plays Kurt’s half-brother and they get into a fight, COMEDY ensues! [I love movies like this but there’s SO MUCH PENIS.  There appears to be one woman in this but she doesn’t speak in the trailer. I NEED TO WRITE AND DIRECT MOVIES. -M]

Grace of Monaco, November 27, 2013

This movie might be good but this trailer is the worst and I am concerned that Nicole Kidman is using Botox again. Her forehead looks waxy. Also I think that the trailer is narrated by Frank Langella which is weird. [This movie is not going to be good, Katie. It looks like a piece of crap. Of course I would love to watch it with a bottle of wine and some M&Ms to throw at the TV. -M]

You would have to PAY me to see it in an ACTUAL theater

The Last Days on Mars, December 6, 2013

I don’t care that this movie has a bunch of actors I like, it’s still a horror movie in space also I think Viggo Mortensen’s doppelgänger is in it and that creeps me out. [At least there are several women with speaking roles. Look, I said something nice about this movie!! -M]
