Smart ladies love, movies on Thanksgiving

For those of you who have the energy to go to the movies after all of that Turkey OR you just need to get most of the family out of your house while you finish cooking here are the SLLS, Thanksgiving Day movie recommendations –HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

For the kiddos

If I wasn’t hell-bent on NOT leaving the house tomorrow (I’m making chili and watching The Lord of the Rings) I would totally go see Frozen which looks like the perfect Holiday season movie –thanks Disney!

For the bigger kiddos

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire

I need to see this but I want to see it with Melissa so it will have to wait!

Thor: The Dark World

Everything I have heard is that this is better than the first one (which I loved, Melissa did not).

For some Christmas cheer

Black Nativity

How have we not featured this movie in Movie Trailer Monday, it’s a musical staring Jennifer Hudson, Forest Whitaker and Angela Bassett -WIN! It also features Mary J. Blige!

The Best Man Holiday

I also heard that this is better than the original as well so everyone go out and celebrate the holiday season with hottie Taye Diggs.

Because you need to laugh

Delivery Man

Nothing says family like Thanksgiving so spend it watching a movie where Vince Vaughn finds out he has over 500 kids!

You need to see every potential Oscar flick

Dallas Buyers Club

This movie looks slightly depressing but I love Matthew McConaughey when he is in feisty kickass mode.

Celebrate Thanksgiving with Brice Dern and Will Forte in Nebraska.

JUDI DENCH and STEVE COOGAN in a road movie –really this is exactly what you need for Thanksgiving a feel good British dramedy about a woman searching for her long-lost son.
